As I rise to find another day of impossible feelings jumbled up inside of me. I find myself pondering the great question of what is the meaning? What is my purpose? I think we often times get tied up into the who, what, when, where and how and forget the main reason we are meant to be here. Which is to live, to enjoy to bring a ray of sunshine to ourselves and others.
Perhaps my view is skewed a bit since I know my purpose, I have always known what writing has been to me. I avoided it and ran from the emotions for so long that I effectively was running from myself and my true purpose, but I have always known. The rest of the actions that have followed, came because I wish to see others find their purpose find their way in this life. I wish to be a voice for the voiceless or the neglected. I am very passionate about this topic and will continue to speak my truths along the way. I know my purpose will continue to change and develop as I go, as I change and as I develop as an individual.
I think perhaps this is where people get lost, they have a passion and they know their talents and skills, then things change and perhaps they feel like oh well the vision has changed therefor I must be on the wrong path, causing a full stop in their efforts. When honestly you must take the meaning and it must change, it must change to meet the new developments in your mind state. You are not lost, you have not lost your passion it is evolving.
As I sit here with a clear vision of what it is I am, and who I wish to be it can be overwhelming if I think on it too long, or dwell on what was or what is now. This is the secret to pivot with the change of the wind, to understand you are ever growing and evolving. That base dream never changes, the drivers of it however do. The lessons and the growth take that base dream and it becomes a more mature vision of the dream. Do not allow for yourself to be disillusioned by the greatness or the change. Simply find a way in which all the developments connect to one great vision.
A great vision, hard to consider when you are trying to figure out how to discover meaning and purpose in your life when you're feeling lost. I could almost laugh if the tears were not lingering so closely on the back end of that statement. The real question we must ask ourselves is are we lost, or are we afraid? I think you will find that the later is more the reality. So next we should ask ourselves, what is it we are afraid of? Failure? Ridicule? Financial crash out? All of the above? If you can hone in on what it is that is blocking you from your next move, from your vision. From being the whole and fulfilled happy individual you wish to be, well my friend then you have already found success. You no longer need to find purpose, you are the purpose, you no longer need to feel lost, you never were lost. Just scared and fear is something you can chose to face. So you are with in victory as you read this.
I urge the reader to understand that fear is a powerful side emotion, that often covers something great. You would not be human if you did not fear the unknown. The question is what do you do with it? Do you feel you are truly lost and seeking purpose? Or does your purpose overwhelm and terrify you? Are you brave enough to continue forward when all seems lost? If the answer is no, then you have indeed went in the wrong direction, or perhaps you need to address the mind state you are looking through.
For this author, fear is present, as a reminder I am on the right track. That I am doing something that ultimately can change the trajectory of my life, and those who are closest to me. So of course I feel it, but I don't wish to live in it. I don't wish to continue doubt, reaffirm that which you want. EVERYDAY. Reaffirm the person you wish to show up in this world as EVERYDAY. Any nay saying or doubt should have no room in your heart or your mind. Stay the course, keep doing the things that bring you joy, it is in that you will find purpose in your life, and being lost will be a thing of the past.
