We often are met with our own blockades; we get into our heads and limit what is available to us. Sometimes we think we are open to new ideas, new ways of thinking and new opportunities, only to realize our own limited beliefs have been blocking our path the entire trip. Have you ever considered your idea of how everything will work out, is probably just as incorrect as how you think everything won’t work out. The truth of the matter is that this world/universe works in the most mysterious of ways. I’m a fan of old adages so bear with me here, “The best laid plans…” they never work out. There is literally a saying that tells us so, but somehow, we continue to lay our plans like we have nothing but full control over our lives. Only to be pissed off when they do not EVER, and I mean EVER work out the way we planned it. So, our response to this is to make plans ABCDEFG the entire alphabet honestly of how we make the original plan work. Do you see the folly in this? I’m starting to see it, perhaps had we overcome our own set blockades we would see that in truth the answers are always found in the new ideas that come after we exhaust ourselves with our own limited ideas. The world is literally chalk full of new ways of trying things, new ways of thinking and yet we remain in the safety of our own wheelhouse, WHY?! I am confronting the idea that had I moved forward with looking at all the options instead of the one I was dead set on having I could have seen what was right in front of my face the whole friggin time. My advice to you at this moment in time are you looking at the plan you made or are you working with what is available to you and making a plan with all the options, even the unfathomable on the table? Today I find myself doing the latter, stop limiting what is possible in your life, stop thinking you know the answers without first seeking the answers. At the odds of sounding a bit delulu only then will you find the answers. Remain open to new ideas, only then will the path be revealed to you.
